How to use

Prepskin
Apply with mitt
Rinse in 1-3 hours

For a streak-free self tan:

Apply to clean, exfoliated skin using our Bronze On Applicator Mitt
Use sparingly on elbows, knees and ankles. Apply 3-4 pumps per body part. Wash hands after application.
Rinse in cool or lukewarm water for 45 seconds after 1-4+ hours.

CHOOSE HOW DARK YOU WANT TO GO: The fast tan actives will begin to activate immediately upon application. Rinse in 1 hour for a light, natural tan. For a darker tan, leave on longer. The tan will stop developing at 8 hours. Rinse with lukewarm water only for 45 seconds. Do not use soap or scrubs. The water will rinse off the temporary brown bronzers. The tan will continue to deepen in color over the next 24 hours following the rinse. Regular showering may be taken 8 hours after the first rinse.

Salon Pro Tip: Results should last 5-7 days without patchiness if well maintained. To ensure long lasting results, apply a body moisturizer daily, do not use exfoliators, and avoid swimming and bathing.

HANDLING: If product comes into contact with hands or clothing rinse immediately. Do not leave contents open or uncovered. For best results store Self Tan Foams in a cool, dark environment out of direct sunlight and below 30ºC /86°F. Self Tan Foams should not be used after being open for more than 6 months.

Before

Exfoliate and moisturize

24 hours before you apply your self tan, paying particular attention to elbows, knees, ankles and problem areas
Wax or shave at least 48 hours prior to treatment.

this allows the pores time to close. Dotting in pores may appear if not adhered to.
Don’t apply moisturiser, perfume, deodorant or makeup on the day of application.

these products may act as a barrier against your skin and can prevent the tanning actives from developing evenly.

After

Wear dark loose clothing

tight clothing or underwear may cause marks. wear loose fitting shoes.
Moisturize everyday after applying your self tan

or consider using a gradual tan so that your tan is continually being topped up and your tan lasts longer.
After day 5, exfoliate with a soft body polish on a daily basis

this help your skin absorb even more moisturizer and keep it looking and feeling gorgeous. This also helps the tan fade naturally, rather than in patches.

SKIN LOVING ingredients

Squalane

Left no colour after first shower

I was on my second bottle of MineTan Absolute and had really liked it up until now, but I think this bottle must have had an issue with the formula.

The tan applied fine, but after the first rinse (cool water, no soap or shower gel) there was barely any colour left. I’ve used enough fake tan over the years to know the difference between guide colour washing off and the actual tan developing, and this just didn’t seem right.

I contacted customer services to ask about it, but never got a reply, which was pretty disappointing.

I’ve ended up going back to Loving Tan instead, which gives me a really nice dark colour and has always been much more reliable for me. Shame, as I really liked MineTan before this experience.

Hey lovely, so sorry to hear your tan developed a bit streaky/patchy, we know how frustrating that can be! Uneven results usually happen when the tan isn’t able to absorb evenly into the skin, so here are a few tips that may help next time:

Exfoliate + shave 24 hours before applying to ensure an even, smooth base.
Apply to clean, product-free skin, no lotions, oils or deodorant beforehand.
Use long, sweeping motions and blend well around dry areas like elbows, knees, hands + feet.
When rinsing, keep it quick and lukewarm with water only, as hot showers or soaps can strip and cause patchiness.
Moisturise daily after rinsing to maintain a smooth, even fade.
